As the managing editor of Adam O’Dell’s Green Zone Fortunes, I’ve had the pleasure of reading through many of his subscribers’ investing ventures.
And sometimes those successes take a different shape than expected.
When markets are swinging up and down like they are now, it can feel like an endless battle. Minimizing losses carries just as much weight as finding sufficient gains.
While we’re here to celebrate the success of you, the readers, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the success that Adam is seeing with the Green Zone Fortunes portfolio.
In his Green Zone Fortunes service, Adam finds stocks that are positioned to beat the overall market by three times over the next one to three years. And the portfolio is outperforming those benchmarks right now.
Adam ran through the numbers and found that the open portfolio is beating the S&P 500 by 4-to-1.
But how is that so?
When I asked Adam about Green Zone Fortunes’ recent performance, here’s what he had to say:
“Well, while the S&P 500 has lost 3.4% since its closing high on September 2 … our portfolio of eight positions is up 9.5% in the same time.”
When we compare each of the positions’ performance against the S&P 500 over the same time, the relative performance is even stronger — roughly 4-to-1 against the S&P 500.
Congratulations on the success so far, Adam!
