We’re taking a little breather this week — but that doesn’t mean things are slowing down. In fact, I’ve already got three new HyperCycle Blueprint trades lined up between Friday, September 4, and Tuesday, September 8. I’m not going to give too much away just yet…

Last week we talked about how statistics can be misleading… For example, a stock can show an historical “100% win-rate” across a particular date range, but if the sample size is just one observation… any conclusion draw from that statistic is meaningless. Even statistics based on more than a single data point can be misleading if not examined carefully.

I’m on vacation with family this week, but I still wanted to quickly touch base and share some thoughts on the market. Because I’m not the only person who’s taking some time off this week… Seasonally speaking, August and September are two of the slowest months of the year for stocks. That’s due in large part to vacations, closures, and other seasonal forces that tend to drive purchasing activity out towards each end of the year.

When it comes to epic Fourth of July celebrations, Washington D.C. is the place to be… Because during the brief 10-to-20-minute span of your average government-sponsored fireworks show, Uncle Sam will light off an average of 20,000 fireworks to celebrate the nation’s birthday. That’s truly stupendous.
