Time to Sell Our “Green Zone Super Stocks”
In January, when I invited you to look over my shoulder as I profiled some of the market’s smallest high-growth companies, I didn’t know we were on the verge of watching the broad market slide into bear territory. As I mentioned in the “fun fact” section of yesterday’s Wednesday Windfalls trade alert, the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average have not fallen into a bear market (yet). But the technology-heavy Nasdaq 100 index has … along with the small-cap Russell 2000 index. Of course, any time a broad market index like the Nasdaq 100 is down 25%, you can bet your bottom dollar there are individual stocks within that index that are down much more. Some are down 70% … 80% … even 90% from their highs!
