I hope you enjoy the season as best you can! I know this year might look different for some, but we can still celebrate our most cherished traditions, both old and new — even from a distance.

Four years, almost 200 weekly issues, and dozens of “switch” trades later, I want to have a look back at what we’ve accomplished following my market-timing model and the “systematic” way.

Our model has now switched back into its “All Clear” mode. So, we should re-establish our risk-on positioning.

Divergences in both the U.S. sector and global markets cohorts have just crossed above their thresholds. That means our model is now in “Trouble Ahead,” risk-off mode.

I remember one time when I found a notepad with “Diet Log” written on the front stashed in his desk drawer. On each page, details outlining what he planned to eat, what he’d actually eaten and adjustments he intended to make.
