I wrote a note to my Home Run Profits subscribers this week that included the headline: “Sell in May and Go Away?” My editor wrote back to me: “You know it’s almost September, right?” Indeed, I know summer is nearly over! It’s just that the stock market has been on a fantastic run this summer, and it makes me feel bad for anyone who has blindly followed that “Sell in May” advice.

On August 12, I introduced you to the ProShares Nasdaq-100 Dorsey Wright Momentum ETF (Nasdaq: QQQA). This exchange-traded fund aims to provide better returns than the Nasdaq 100, much like our 2x-leveraged ProShares Ultra QQQ Trust ETF (NYSE: QLD) does.

Last week, I covered a new “Best of the Nasdaq” ETF, the ProShares Nasdaq-100 Dorsey Wright Momentum ETF (Nasdaq: QQQA). I told you I’d share another momentum-driven exchange-traded fund with you this week. However, I’m touching base to let you know that that issue of 10X Profits will resume on Thursday, August 26.

Buying a 2x-leveraged exchange-traded fund (ETF) — like our dear ProShares Ultra QQQ Trust (NYSE: QLD) — is one way to get “more juice for the squeeze.” On any given day, if the Nasdaq 100 index and its non-leveraged ETF (QQQ) are up, say, 1% … our 2x-leveraged ETF (QLD) should gain 2%. That makes it a fantastic tool to amplify returns during uptrends.
