Gold is the ultimate safe haven asset. A gold coin can buy you roughly the same amount of bread in the year 2025 as it did all the way back in the year 25. Physical gold also exists outside the traditional financial system — meaning it’s not a liability on anyone else’s balance sheet.

Earlier this week, Hims & Hers Health (HIMS) announced its acquisition of Trybe Labs, a company specializing in at-home blood tests. On the surface, I realize this kind of news might not seem like a very big deal… After all, Hims’ GLP-1 drugs are already a medical miracle. Blood testing is a little mundane by comparison. But in reality, this was one of the biggest announcements in Hims’ history — laying down the groundwork for a growing telehealth empire and fast-tracking the company’s 10X prospects.
