After a long week of waiting, the initial numbers are in: Joe Biden is the projected next President of the United States. Final verification of all the votes won’t finish until December 11, but it’s safe to assume that Trump is out and Biden is in.

While the counting of legal, valid ballots continues, neither presidential candidate has reached the 270 electoral votes he needs to win.

Election Day has come and gone. Folks cast a record number of early votes, and by most accounts, in-person voting went smoothly yesterday.
