We’re now less than two weeks away from what could be the closest election in American history… Both candidates are locked in a dead heat, and we’re being bombarded with paid ads, campaign events and a constant stream of new polling data on swing states. Many Americans on both sides of the aisle just wish we could get the election over with. Those folks have my sympathy because these next two weeks are going to be packed with even more political discourse and messaging than we’ve seen so far.

For over a year and a half, the mega-cap “Magnificent Seven” have dominated stock returns and financial headlines as the AI boom came into full swing. If you’ve been following my writings and recommendations during that time, then you already know what I think about these stocks… On the one hand, the Magnificent Seven are generally outstanding businesses (except for Tesla). They’ve earned their place as leaders in the tech world and will likely continue to lead the charge through the new AI era.

It was a concept car, unlike anything the world had ever seen… Unveiled in 1958, the Ford Nucleon featured slick aerodynamic lines, a wraparound windshield, dual tailfins, and (of course) a set of gorgeous whitewall tires:

Over the last 28 years, America has seen a massive nationwide shift in both the cultural attitude toward cannabis and the laws that govern it… Beginning with the 1996 passage of Proposition 215 in California, medical marijuana legalization gradually spread to 38 different American states. The newly-legal medication provided relief to sufferers of chronic pain and huge cash infusions to each state’s economy. After decades of stigma and “Just Say No,” Americans are gradually coming around to the appeal of cannabis (and its massive profit potential as a fast-growing industry).
