Earlier this week, we talked about why we take profits “early,” particularly on call option positions. In short, time is of the essence when you’re long options … so taking profits on part of a position as quickly as possible is a solid strategy. It works to both lock in winnings that could otherwise be taken back by the market just as quickly as they came … and it gives you stronger hands for holding the remainder of the position longer.

It’s Monday, and that means it’s time to check in on our HyperCycle Blueprint portfolio! There isn’t anything to do with our two latest positions … Shares of Steel Dynamics (STLD) are trading roughly where they were when we entered our latest bullish trade on the steel stock last Tuesday.

We have a new HyperCycle profit window to position for today. But first, a quick update on our Nvidia (NVDA) position … We entered a bullish trade on the “AI posterchild” chipmaker last Monday, just as the stock was due to enter its seasonal sweet spot, which runs from September 14 to November 20:

It was a busy weekend! Executives at top AI firms – OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI – all simultaneously sounded the alarm on the dangers inherent in the technologies they’re creating. However, what they said and what they’re actually angling for may prove to be two different things.
