Our new large-cap “Tech Titans” portfolio is off to a phenomenal start, with all 10 Nasdaq stocks showing a positive return in the first two weeks. And with President Trump’s pro-business administration now back in office, our new portfolio should continue to outperform well into the future. But I’ve also received some questions about this new strategy, and I want to address your questions in this week’s update. We’re going to be taking a closer look at small caps vs. large caps, and some of the surprising benefits of a mixed strategy like the one we’re using in 2025.

The “see-saw” action between small caps and large caps continues… As I write, the small-cap Russell 2000 index (IWM) is up 2.6% from the open on January 10 — the best of all four broad U.S. stock indexes we track. That’s a reversal of the relationship in the prior four weeks, where IWM lost nearly twice as much as QQQ (the ETF tracking the Nasdaq 100).

Over the last year, our Infinite Momentum Alert strategy has locked in some impressive short-term gains. For example, we snagged a quick 43% gain on American Semiconductor (Nasdaq: AMSC) in less than two months… We made 37% in under four months with Hovnanian Enterprises (NYSE: HOV)…
