Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I’m back in the saddle, so to speak, and we have a few moves to make today. We came into the week with a total of seven positions – five bullish long-call plays and two bullish put-write plays.

Just a quick trade alert before the holiday … First, though, a word about Nvidia (NVDA) … NVDA shares tumbled this morning on news that Meta Platforms (META) is looking to buy AI chips from Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL). That’s obviously not good news for Nvidia, which has until recently been seen as the “only game in town” when it comes to supplying the world’s most advanced chips.

While we wait for our bullish long-call positions (IJR, EXC, XLV, EWZ and VALE) to mature and provide the high-upside asymmetry they’re designed for … Let’s “reload” our put-write portfolio with two new trades today … With the recent spike higher in volatility, we can earn higher premiums by putting on new put-write positions today.

There’s a saying that goes … “Bulls make money, bears make money … but pigs get slaughtered.” In other words, don’t be too greedy!
