First, a quick profit-taking trap on the Valero Energy (VLO) puts I recommended just two days ago … and then we’ll move on to the juicier, can’t-miss Nvidia story of the day. Target a 153% Annualized Return on VLO On Tuesday, I recommended selling $145-strike puts on VLO, for which we earned a credit of $133 per contract.

I’m happy to report that our put-write strategy continues to perform … The profit-taking “trap” you set on your Digital Realty Trust (DLR) $140-strike puts was triggered yesterday, with orders filling at the $0.70 limit price I recommended. With that closing trade, we’re now 14 for 14 on this strategy.

I alluded to the possibility yesterday that we’ll need to adjust the limit prices of the profit-taking “traps” we set on our two open put-write trades. And that’s what I’m recommending you do today… Shares of both GEHC and DLR have moved against us since yesterday. GEHC shares traded lower this morning but have since recovered, though they’re not completely back up to yesterday’s pricing … and shares of DLR are now down three days in a row.
