Thanks to everyone who joined Matt and me in this morning’s trade room! We had a spirited discussion on last week’s market, including three “teaching moments” about systematic trading.

Today, I have two few quick housekeeping notes, plus take-profits trade instructions. I’ll be in all-day meetings with the Money & Markets team tomorrow, so we won’t be sending out a separate weekly update.

I’m recommending you make two trades today. One is a partial “take profits” trade on the open position we have on the SPDR S&P Regional Bank ETF (NYSE: KRE). The other is a new trade I’m recommending you open today.

First, sincere apologies for our having to cancel this morning’s trade room session. We’re confident our new technology will be worthwhile once all the kinks have been worked out; but, apparently, we’re not quite there yet. Otherwise, today is one of those rare instances when I’m not recommending any trades. This has happened only a small handful of times in the nearly three years I’ve been running the strategy.
