Today, I’m recommending you “clear the deck” on positions that have gone south on us. The status of some of these positions is not new information — I’ve written about and had them marked as “write-offs” for some time now.

With that said, we found three Wednesday Windfalls trades with valid buy signals and favorable option pricing.

The markets will be closed on Thursday and will close early at 1 p.m. Eastern on Friday. But as I mentioned in the trade room, the pricing of options this week is reflecting that and otherwise still quite favorable.

Stocks are flying higher today. Shares of the Nasdaq-100 tracking exchange-traded fund QQQ are up more than 2% today and nearly 13% over the last 13 trading days. That index is driven by large weightings to some of the mega-cap technology stocks that can seemingly do no wrong — the likes of Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), NVIDIA (NVDA) and Alphabet (GOOG), aka “Google.”

As mentioned, I’ve noticed that a good number of stocks have traded higher since we initially included them on the spreadsheet Matt links to, flipping them from “down day” stocks to “up day” stocks and, thus, taking them out of contention for a trade day.
