Last week was a sit-on-our-hands week as we waited for our current trades to mature and for the market to throw our next “pitch.” Today, both of those things have happened … and so we have some moves to make. We’ll be closing two trades for profits and adding a new bullish position.

I have three new recommendations for you this week… One is a bullish, long-call play on small caps. The other two are bullish put-write plays on stocks that are “approved” by my Green Zone Power Rating system.

The market is acting a little wobbly today, likely in reaction to last Friday’s news of President Trump’s global tariffs being ruled illegal. Our portfolio is in fine shape, but we’ll be prudent to de-risk it just in case today’s weakness extends another few days or weeks — we are entering a seasonally dicey part of the year!

I have two new put-write positions I’m recommending you add today… Both are technology stocks and members of the Nasdaq 100 index. They’re also both rated “Bullish” on my Green Zone Power Rating system, which is important because any time we put on a put-write position, we want to do it on a company we’d be happy to own … if we could buy it at the “right” price (that is, much lower than the current market price).
