We have a new action to take this week. CVS Health Corp. (NYSE: CVS) needs little introduction. The ubiquitous health services juggernaut just placed in the Top 10 of Fortune’s Global 500 list. With more than $256 billion in 2020 revenue, it ranks just behind Apple as the seventh-largest revenue generator in the world.

Today, we’ll focus on the oldest and newest positions in our well-balanced portfolio. I recommended buying $100-strike call options on transportation company Expeditors International of Washington (Nasdaq: EXPD) on March 9. That makes this position the oldest one on our books. And that’s excellent … because the stock turned into a “runner!”

The health care sector (XLV) earned the top spot on our Leaders & Laggards Board this week.

The U.S. technology sector has done “just OK” so far this year. As measured by the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSE: XLK), the sector’s series of higher highs and higher lows show us that it’s in a classic uptrend. But it trails a number of other sectors in year-to-date returns.

One of the best aspects of our systematic sector-rotation approach to trading options is that we can easily adapt to changing trends.
