I don’t recommend you take any actions today. Last week, we added a new position in the top-rated energy-sector stalwart Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX). With that, we now have a “full boat” of seven positions. This week, the Federal Reserve is holding its final meeting of 2021. Over the past month or so, speculation has grown that the Fed will turn more hawkish — that is to say, be less accommodating — with its monetary policy.

At the moment, our six positions show open gains and losses between -43% and +225%.

I don’t recommend that we make any moves this week. It’s something of a short and “slow” week, with markets closed on Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Speaking of which … I’m thankful for YOU! Some of you just joined me this year. Others have been with me since Day 1 … waaaay back in 2011.

Last week I shared a brief update on our trade on the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY). I explained how the ETF’s gains were largely driven by Tesla’s near-vertical rally, but that the fund’s other top holdings could easily “take the baton,” should Tesla cool off:
