Andrew Zatlin here with your Thursday edition of Superforecast Trader. Well, just as things go up… they go down. New jobless figures posted this morning showed claims dropped back down to their level from two weeks ago — around 221,000.

Welcome to your Thursday edition of Andrew Zatlin’s Superforecast Trader. I’m traveling today, so I will keep my side of this update relatively short. Well, the numbers are out and jobless claims ticked up 5,000 to 219,000 for the week ending February 15. This was at the high end of the range of both consensus and my own estimates.
