Our trades this week reversed after a solid start. They were up nicely yesterday, but down today … netting us an overall loss for the week. Taking losses is never fun, but the wise trader will make sure he or she at least learns something from them. I had already planned to show you in this week’s Weekly Trade Wrap the would-be result of last week’s trades, had we held them through Friday.

This week’s result is too close to call for certain, though I estimate it will be roughly breakeven.

One thing I like about our Wednesday Windfalls strategy is that it combines a general seasonality tendency with specific stock triggers … which, when used together, increase the strategy’s overall odds and profitability.
