I hope you had the chance to make last week’s trade when we netted a 118% profit overall. Equally, I hope you’ll also take the opportunity to make this week’s trades. See, as a systematic trader … you never know when your big wins will come nor when a profitable winning streak is beginning. You only know these things in hindsight — thus, the actual profits only go to those traders willing and able to proceed into the dark and unknown future … trusting the system they committed to trading through the good times and the bad. We’re putting a nice-sized win on the board this week! The S&P 500 is up more than 2% since we made our Monday afternoon entries. And the stocks we made plays on are up even more… Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) is up 2.9%… Weibo Corp. (WB) has jumped 6%… And DraftKings Inc. (DKNG) climbed 7.3%.

I’ve mentioned several times in recent months that I’m planning for a “longer and lower” bear market. I’m still holding that view for now … though I’m beginning to see some tentative signs of stocks firming up. Specifically, stocks fell back down to their mid-June lows last week. But on Wednesday, six stocks traded higher for every one that was lower. And today, more than five stocks are up for every one that’s down. Days like these tend to mark shifts in sentiment and often kick-start rallies … even if they only last for a few days or weeks.

It wasn’t looking good yesterday, but stocks have bounced higher today … with the S&P 500 up about 1.5% since Monday afternoon. All three of the stocks we played this week have climbed higher, and I expect we’ll be able to lock in profits on our Stitch Fix and Snap Inc. calls, while taking a small loss on the Peloton Interactive trade. We’ll see how the exits shake out, but I believe we’ll finish this week’s trades with a small net profit.
