I hope you had a great holiday weekend! My family and I enjoyed our time together, and we’re taking advantage of this day off for our son to spend quality time with his grandparents. Since our offices are closed, we don’t have any actions to take today, and I won’t send a Weekly Trade Wrap video this week. We’ll be back to trading in the new year. Weekly trade wrap video: December 23, 2021.

I recommend that you DO NOT sell your open positions yet. Here’s why… The Federal Reserve will release its meeting minutes at exactly 2 p.m. Eastern today. It will follow the minutes with a press conference, where we should learn even more about the Fed’s next steps and intentions. These are almost always market-moving events … and this meeting should be no different, particularly since the Fed has kept folks guessing over the past month or so.
