For over a year and a half, the mega-cap “Magnificent Seven” have dominated stock returns and financial headlines as the AI boom came into full swing. If you’ve been following my writings and recommendations during that time, then you already know what I think about these stocks… On the one hand, the Magnificent Seven are generally outstanding businesses (except for Tesla). They’ve earned their place as leaders in the tech world and will likely continue to lead the charge through the new AI era.

It was a concept car, unlike anything the world had ever seen… Unveiled in 1958, the Ford Nucleon featured slick aerodynamic lines, a wraparound windshield, dual tailfins, and (of course) a set of gorgeous whitewall tires:

For the first time in four years, the Federal Reserve is cutting its benchmark interest rate. While we can expect several more cuts in the months to come, today’s announcement marks a critical turning point in the fight against the worst inflation rates we’ve seen in decades.

Last month, Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PLTR) passed a critical test when it delivered an outstanding earnings report. To me, it was particularly telling given how Palantir’s strength is becoming more obvious at a time when the more popular Magnificent Seven tech stocks have begun to falter.
