I mentioned I wasn’t going to have any other insights regarding our Green Zone Fortunes strategy or portfolio when I sent you our April recommendation on Monday. But I did want to reach out to let you know about something else. I just made my second-to-last cut to my free $5 Stocks to Watch report. I’ve reduced this list from 298 tickers to just 37 “finalists” using my proprietary ratings system (the same system I use when analyzing stocks for our Green Zone Fortunes model portfolio).

The U.S. dollar is still king, but what happens when that isn’t the case anymore?

That’s the main situation I explore in this month’s issue of Green Zone Fortunes.

To be clear, I don’t think the dollar’s dominance is under imminent threat. But there are certain events that call its role within the global economy into question. And history proves that currencies can only hold the throne for so long.

Whatever plays out from here, I’ll repeat something I mentioned in last week’s update: Preparation is prudent.
