Well, the new year is here, and all of us here at Superforecast Trader hope you had a safe and happy holiday! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and a happy start to Hanukkah!

Markets closed early today and will remain closed on account of the holiday, so we won’t have a trade for this week. The economy is currently humming along, with jobless claims trending neither up nor down. Seasonal adjustments are slightly distorting numbers from week to week, but my research is consistent with strong economic performance. That means we’ll be aiming to step into the New Year with a strong trade next Tuesday, so stay tuned!
