If investors don’t have the appetite to buy or hold Zillow shares at $40 or above, the stock could easily tumble down to retest its March 18, $20 low.
Of course, there’s also the “gold bug” argument: that central banks are destroying the value of fiat currency through reckless monetary policy, and so gold, thanks to its scarcity and resistance to government manipulation, is the only true store of value.
As prudent investors, we have to prepare our minds and our portfolios for all potential outcomes ahead — not just the rosy, best-case scenarios.
